COUNSELING LINKS
Our Lord's Great Commission contains the mandate for us to teach believers everything that Christ commands (Matt. 28:20). What does that mean? It means that we are to bring Christ and His Word to bear on the lives of men. In other words, He and His Word sufficiently speak to any spiritual condition of any man in any generation (Ps. 19:7-11, 2 Tim. 3:15-17). This conviction sees counseling as nothing more than discipleship.
The following websites share in this passion for the absolute sufficiency of Christ and His Word in counseling. Our church may not agree with the content at every website mentioned, but we do appreciate the overall emphasis on biblical discipleship.

DEVOTIONAL LINKS
Robert Chapman once penned the following description of the Bible:
"This book contains the mind of God, the state of man, the way of salvation, the doom of sinners, and the happiness of believers. Its doctrines are holy, its precepts binding, its histories are true and its decisions are immutable. Read it to be wise, believe it to be safe, and practice it to be holy. It contains light to direct you, food to support you, and comfort to cheer you. It is the traveler's map, the pilgrim's staff, the pilot's compass, the soldier's sword, and the Christian's character. Here paradise is restored, heaven opened, and the gates of hell disclosed. Christ is its grand subject, our good its design, and the glory of God its end. It should fill the memory, test the heart and guide the feet. Read it slowly, frequently, prayerfully. It is a mine of wealth a paradise of glory and a river of pleasure. It is given you in life, it will be opened at the judgment, and be remembered forever. It involves the highest responsibility, rewards the greatest labor and condemns all
who will trifle with its sacred contents."
Wow! What an observation! How true it is. Scripture itself bears witness to its own sufficiency and the need for every person to delve into its rich, timeless, powerful contents (Ps. 19:7-11, 2 Tim. 3:15-17).
So...get up a little earlier than normal, brew the coffee, find a quiet corner with a soft light, open your Bible...and let God's Word daily wash over your soul.
Below are a few links to assist you on your journey towards "letting the word of Christ richly dwell within you" (Col. 3:16). Daily devotionals are not to take the place of your own personal Bible reading, but they are meant to supplement it and add insight. Some of these links also have suggested Bible reading schedules as well.
As with all the links on our website, we do no necessarily endorse all content and views expressed by ministries or individuals. Our doctrinal position is sufficiently outlined in our belief statement.
